What is Integrative Palliative Care?

Integrative Palliative Care is the use of conventional and complementary approaches together in providing care for people facing serious illness or end of life. It addresses the whole person as a multidimensional being – body, mind, spirit and relationships.

  • Description: The COVID-19 pandemic limits patient access to palliative care services. Palliative Care at Home is a video series providing family caregivers brief instruction in safe and simple use of complementary therapies to support quality of life for loved ones in need of palliative care.

Integrative Therapies in Palliative
Care: 9-Course CE/CME Program

  • Audience: physicians, nurses, social workers, counselors, chaplains, pharmacists, others.
  • Description: 9 one-credit courses on evidence-based use of integrative therapies in palliative care settings. For multidisciplinary health care professionals
  • Continuing education credits: Each 1-hour course earns 1 ME/CEU. Take as many courses as you wish.
